Explee is a great doodle video maker. But what sets it apart from rest of the doodle video maker flock, is the quality of the web based experience. First of all, it is the most powerful web based doodle video maker with pan/zoom animation implemented as the default flow. So you can access explee to make your doodle videos from any place at any time on any device and churn out great quality doodle videos with the help of built in image library, pan/zoom effects, text to speech capabilities. And they have a great timeline editor too for granular control of animation.
Explee falls short in a few areas though. First is the cost. For removing watermark, you need to pay 49 USD per month ($25/month for annual payment) and then also you will be limited with 720p video quality. This is unacceptable when doodle makers available at much cheaper rate in general, albeit they may be offline.

Plus I have purchased Easy Sketch Pro 3 which does a great job of converting any random image into a hand drawn doodle. I create some part of videos in Easy Sketch Pro 3 while most part in Mango Whiteboard Animation Maker. Together they cover all that I need for creating my doodle videos. So where does that leave Explee? I can get a good quality job done with 3 life time software at the total cost of $39+$69+$67 = $175 as one time expense. Why do I need Explee?
Short and Long answer to that is just convenience. Explee is very convenient and fast. No need for heavy computer, I can work on explee even using a tablet PC. There is no on computer graphics requirement. Everything works from within the browser. There are a few more options for web based doodle makers. But none of them are even close in comparison to the plethora of features available in explee.
When you build doodles in explee, you dont even have to bother about transition animations. The animations are turned on by default. You write two words in explee design area and the software will do the animation required for creating the doodle including the transition between those two words as a pan effect.
For this convenience, explee is second to none. It helps immensely to also have a text to speech engine built in right there with an advance timeline editor and support for voice overs. You can quickly bring up some words and images on their design area, add some direct voice over recording or text to speech audio and then hit the export. Explee will build a nice animated voice over video for you. All of that with a blazing fast interface experience.
Do I recommend Explee? If you have money to pay for it’s subscription, then it offers something unique and if you value your time over the money you pay, then explee is the right fit for you. They have a trial access but no free plan
